A Trip to Tokyo

Go Behind the Scenes With Us

Behind the scenes with Maison Cloakroom at our AGM in Tokyo. We’re relaunching our Made in Japan line with a new fit pattern, available soon. See some of the highlights of our trip, including a visit to our Japanese manufacturing center, the Imperial Hotel, and the streets of Shibuya.

From the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo

Since its founding in 1890, The Imperial Hotel has been known for its luxurious accommodations and architecture, drawing guests from around the world. The hotel’s second main building was designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright and completed in 1923. In 1968, the Main Lobby of the hotel was dismantled and relocated to the Meiji-mura Museum Village in Aichi Prefecture, where it was painstakingly reconstructed, repaired, and preserved for future generations.
