A Moment in Montreal Plaza

If you’re from Montreal, you know Montreal Plaza. The Michelin-recommended French brasserie is a masterclass in creative juxtaposition. Which is precisely why it served as the backdrop for our latest lookbook.

Reworking Classics With Confidence

Montreal Plaza follows the rules that matter and breaks the ones that don’t. They’re known for reworking familiar French classics with quiet confidence: trout tartare comes crowned with popcorn, and world-class dining is casually overseen by an upside-down dollhouse and stuffed animals resting in the booths.

Holding a Mirror to Our Tailoring

It is at once refined and irreverent, which is why we’re so drawn to it. In some respects, this tension holds a mirror to our tailoring: a shawl-collar suit cut from brown Solbiati Art du Lin, worn without a tie and softened by a burgundy polo is kind of like fine French cuisine served amidst whimsical decor.

Proper Tailoring, Without Pretension

It is proper tailoring, entirely stripped of pretension. It honours the centuries-old foundations of bespoke craft while shedding its stiffness — a vision brought to life through lightweight constructions, classic palettes, and rich tactile pairings like supple leather over soft knitwear.
